Today is Mexico's independence day, and we had to learn about it in Spanish.

(Sorry that you had to deal with the loudness from El Sócalo or however you spell it)


Oh, did I not tell you that I was in Spanish? Well, I am.


My dad signed me up for the I.B. program at my school (I have no idea what I.B. stands for, though) And to be in the program, you have to take Spanish as one of your languages. It's like this super-special-smart-person program.. And I'm not smart, I just do my homework. OTL


So bye-bye French.


Hm.. What other pointless things do I have to tell you..


Oh, today was the official first day of my dad being a grade Nazi ...




I get a B- on ONE ASSIGNMENT in advanced Language Arts, and he's all like "Well, this is going to hurt your grade! This is the only thing that's been put into the gradebook, so you're just hovering over the C+ line. You're starting the year off very poorly!" YADDAH YADDAH FUCKIN' BLAH. So he wanted me to look at it, and I did, and I'm just like, "Meh." Then he goes off on me a second time, saying, "Well it better not just be a 'Meh'! You better not keep this up or your privelages will be taken away!"


And so the Nazi-ism begins. -sigh-
